Tournament Announcement - Tandem World Championship

1. Title
   The winners of the Tandem Ranking will receive the title Tandem World Champion in Online Skat.
2. Competition
   The Tandem Ranking is held within the Main Round of the Online Skat Individual World Championship.

4. Mode of Play
   1. Registration for the Tandem competition takes place after the Preliminary Round of the Individual World Championship has ended. Any player who has qualified for the Main Round of the Individual Championship may invite another player from the Main Round field to join as a tandem partner. The invited partner must confirm the invitation.
   2. It is not permitted to change or replace a tandem partner once the Tandem competition has started.
   3. To be included in the ranking, both tandem partners must each play 10 series. The first 10 series of each player in the Main Round count toward the Tandem Ranking.
   4. All 20 series played by a tandem count in full toward the ranking. There are no discard series. The average (mean) score of all 20 series determines the ranking. Identical averages result in identical placement.
5. Entry Fee
   The entry fee is €5 per tandem partner.
6. Prizes
   100% of all tandem entry fees will be paid out. In addition, the prize pool will be increased by a contribution from the loss fees.
   Prizes will be awarded to the best third of all tandems, distributed according to placement.
